I love this primer because it feels like water when it's applied onto my face, but you can tell it's a primer because of the texture. It has a little bit of that silicon feel, but not as heavy as the smashbox one.
This primer does have a little bit of an herbal smell to it, but nothing that lasts all day long. By the way this primer does brighten and lighten skin, which is good for those of us who have acne scars.
A good thing about this primer is that it contains retinol, which is a good thing for people who have wrinkles, and you don't have a prescription for retinol (prescription retinol can get very pricey if you don't have insurance).
This primer is only $30 which is a pretty good deal considering that smashbox's primers go anywhere from $16 - $42, and they don't have any of the benefits that Studio Gear's has!
