Plants and other living things
So I've been seeing a lot of these blog posts about succulent plants, and it's kind of weird, because this past week when I was doing my daily walks, I stumbled upon this house, which had a lot of these little plants planted sporadically over their yard. And I kept thinking, "Hmm... I wonder if anyone would notice if I just dug one up, and took it home with me?" Not that I would ever do that to someone. But the thought did cross my mind. Don't act like you never think like I do!
But in all honesty, I could never for the life of me keep a plant alive in my room. That would be like killing the plant slowly in a painful way. I mean I had a beta fish, and one day I forgot to feed him, and then he died. Which made me super sad, especially since I named my fish Ponyo (If you know where this name is from, comment below)!
So these are 5 reasons why I shouldn't have a living plant in my room and or a pet that I would have to take of myself (Pikachu doesn't count because my mom feeds her, and my dad takes her outside to play):
1. I would forget to water it.
2. I practically live like a vampire. No light = no sun = plant die.
3. I would forget about it.
4. I don't know anything about dirt and how to keep a plant alive.
5. I would probably throw potato chips at it and hope it would eat it.
So that's my two cents for today! :)

We are similar with plants. We can do temporary flowers. Isn't it great that succulents don't really need that much attention? Although we might not be very good at keeping those alive either, but maybe... Thanks for sharing! Xo, M&K at brewedtogether.com

I'm really no good with plants either. My husband bought me a beautiful orchid for Valentine's Day...Sad to say, it's dead. =( I've never been good with plants. The only two that are in my house have been kept alive because they are the type of plants that are very forgiving (because I often forget to water them).

I would love to have them too - I love the look of them. But for the same exact reasons, I too stay away from plants.

LOL..funny ideas to grow a plant! I am also not great with gardening, but I think these plants or the cactus variety are very low maintenance!! I want to get an aloe vera plant so I can use the gel for my face:-) Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Succulents can withstand so much! Just water it only a little bit and try to remember they don't live off potato chips. =] Cute post!
