I wanted to show you how I dress if I'm going to go grab a drink with some friends, and I don't want to look underdressed, but I don't want to look overly dressed as well. I'm actually getting into accessorizing my outfits now, so I try to grab a hat, and some sunglasses before I leave the house. Even though the sun sets at 6PM now, it's always good to have a little bit of shade from the sun! This dress from Zaful is casual enough for me to throw on a belt, and wear my flats with.  You don't need to wear heels, if you don't want to. I'm actually against wearing things that will hurt me.  I really love this dress, because the sleeves are big, and there's lace on them. Plus if you are sick of wearing black dresses like me all of the time, it's always good to have a little red dress in your closet!

For those of you who have busy schedules like me, you're probably wondering how can I make my outfit work from day to night? I work an 8-5 job, and sometimes when I get off from work, I'm rushing because I want to make happy hour with my friends, or co-workers. This is an easy way to transition from day to night!  I like wearing something light like this top from Zaful, because it's simple, and it's easy to put away into my Longchamp backpack after I get off from work.
This longchamp backpack is big enough to fold up my clothes, and put them in there. The top is so lightweight and doesn't wrinkle easy so that's why I love wearing this floral top to work!  And I'm seriously in love with these Zaful sunglasses, because they are similar to some expensive brand sunglasses, but for a fraction of the price!  For those of you who are wondering what I put in my backpack, there's a notebook, my ipad, and my pencil case that I bring to work.

For those of you who didn't already know my hair is officially short! I cut my hair back in August, and there aren't that many pictures on the internet with my hair this short! It feels good to have this a-line bob, but at the same time it's a pain because I need to straighten my hair out in the back if I want my hair to not stick out. 
I've been loving this white dress! Even though it is past Labor Day, I'll still wear this dress. I mean since it's still like 80+ degrees in SoCal, it's like ehh... Why not? For those of you who are curious, even though on the description of the dress it says beige, it's more of a vanilla color. I actually don't have anything this white in my collection of dresses. I was trying to recreate Anneorshine's skirt from Rome that she was wearing, but this comes in pretty close.

Hey guys! In Southern California the sun is always out and always shining, so what do you need to survive in the heat other than water? A pair of really cool looking sunglasses of course. 

I'm seriously loving these Westwood Sunglasses. These are the classics in Coal. For some reason, I gravitate more towards black sunglasses. Once in a while I like to wear tortoise shell, but for the most part, I like my sunnies to be dark! 
For those of you who are curious, yes I did cut my hair this weekend, hence the shorter hair that I'm currently rocking. It's just been so hot in SoCal the last couple of weeks, that I couldn't stand to have long hair anymore. I feel like Irene Kim now with my short hair! From what I've learned, a lot less is a lot better for a statement necklace! The reason for this is because your necklace should be the main attraction of your outfit, not everything else, especially if you're going to be wearing something with a lot of bling! By the way this is what I usually wear when I'm out with friends, SoCal is all about the lazy style. :)  I've been seriously loving this necklace from Happiness Boutique, unfortunately when it came in, 4 of the smaller rhinestones had fallen off, but being the champ DIY-er that I was, it was a simple fix. All I needed was some super glue, and a pair of tweezers and it was fixed! Eshakti emailed me a couple of weeks ago, asking me if I wanted to try out one of their custom dresses, and since I'd never had a "custom" dress made for me, I thought to myself, well why not?  When I entered the measurements, I didn't take into account the margin that would be required for the dress to fit. Thankfully when the dress came in, it fit perfectly. The only thing I would have to complain about is the sleeves are a little too big. It's around 1 inch too loose. But other than that, I'm seriously loving this dress. It's been so dang chilly over here the last month, so these pictures weren't taken on a sunny day. Which makes me feel kind of bummed out, but at the same time, I'm kind of glad that it's been raining over here, hopefully that helps the drought that California is in. I've been loving anything and everything cat print. I've never owned a cat, but I think they are cute from a distance. Is that weird? Haha. I've been loving this top from Emma's Mode, it's just so cute, I especially like how the cat's tails in red!

Hey guys! So today, I have an awesome post for those of you who love cute things like me! I was so excited to get the Kawaii Box in the mail this weekend! It was filled with all sorts of amazingly cute things! So let's get into it shall we? First thing when I opened the box was this cute hand written card on the top, and there was pink tissue paper after that! Can you just imagine all the kawaiiness coming out already? :)

Hey guys! So it's that time of the year again, where I make a wish list of all the items that I wanted! For those of you who don't know, I did make a wish list in 2012, and I once again made a wish list this summer before my birthday. I think I accomplished 90% of the items on my wish list from 2012, and for summer of 2014, I got around 40% of the items on that list. So here's to another wish list for this Christmas to possibly next year for me to purchase all of the items on this list (By the way I put a couple of repeats that I wasn't able to get from the past 2 lists).

Mocassins - I've been wanting a pair of moccasins for a long while now. Still haven't found any that I really love, but I'm hoping that I will be able to find a pair soon. That reminds me that I need a pair of boat shoes as well.

Apple Trackpad - I already have the magic mouse, but I want the trackpad, so that way I can use either. And the trackpad has a bigger surface.

Watch - I've found the perfect watch that I want to buy from storenvy. I'll probably pick it up sometime before the end of this year! It's not as expensive as the Nixon watch that I featured, but it should still be a good watch.

Chromecast - I've been meaning to buy this for a while. I don't like having to connect my macbook to my TV with a cable, just to watch Netflix. I was thinking about either this or AppleTV, but this is $35, which to me is a better deal. And I can control this from my tablet. Win, win! Just bought this earlier this week! So pretty excited to be able to watch netflix on my TV now.

Rebecca Minkoff MAC Bag - I want the larger one of this, not the Mini, because I already have the mini 5 zip. And yes I just recently bought the Rebecca Minkoff MAB. But I want something that's medium sized. I want this in silver hardware, because a lot of the purses I have, have gold hardware. I just bought this purse this weekend, but in the brown color.

I'm grateful that I have a roof over my head, food on the table, and people to share all of this with. I'm also grateful that I have a computer to be able to type this on, a tablet, and my iPhone.
