Hey guys! I have a really cool makeup primer that I want to share with you all today! It's the Studio Gear Prime Objective Skin Perfecting Face Primer.   I love this primer because it feels like water when it's applied onto my face, but you can tell it's a primer because of the texture. It has a little bit of that silicon feel, but not as heavy as the smashbox one.  This primer does have a little bit of an herbal smell to it, but nothing that lasts all day long. By the way this primer does brighten and lighten skin, which is good for those of us who have acne scars.  A good thing about this primer is that it contains retinol, which is a good thing for people who have wrinkles, and you don't have a prescription for retinol (prescription retinol can get very pricey if you don't have insurance).   This primer is only $30 which is a pretty good deal considering that smashbox's primers go anywhere from $16 - $42, and they don't have any of the benefits that Studio Gear's has!  If you want to check out this primer, feel free to check out Studio Gear's website for more info!  ♥

Hey there blog, long time no see! For those of you who are wondering what happened to me during this summer... Life happened to me. First off one of my friends had to get married, so I was not technically a bridesmaid, but I was kind of forced into helping out? I guess you would say... Anyway, so long story short, there were a lot of issues, and I got a job. So that basically summed up why I was away from my blog for so long.  Today, I'm going to be reviewing a new brand called Ark Beauty. Now for those of you who are like, what's Ark Beauty? Ark Beauty is a skincare company that's made in Britain, and seriously you guys, I'm in love with their masque.

I don't have that much experience with dry oil, but it's infused with argan oil to give you a soft touch. I use Dove everyday for my skin, because I don't like using harsh soaps that seem to damage my skin more than help it. I regularly use argan oil on rough patches of skin, like my elbows, or wherever my skin feels dry. And so now with a new Dove bar that's infused with actual argan oil that will cut down on me buying more argan oil, and applying it onto my skin.  For those of you who are like, but my significant other doesn't like using Dove, well I have to say that this body wash does smell a little more masculine than their regular white bar. For those of you who are curious I don't wear nail polish on my hands often, because one I feel like it always manages to come off in a couple of days, and two since I'm always in a rush I don't have the time to wait there patiently for my nails to dry. Which is why I prefer painting my toenails, but to spare you guys my feet, I decided to give Pacifica Beauty's nail polishes a try. And I got to say these lasted longer than I thought they would.  First off Pacifica's packaging is always gorgeous as usual. With the white top, and the gold detail on top. The only thing I didn't like was when I opened (I think?) the second bottle, I started to cough like hysterically... Which is probably just due to the fumes... And plus you got to remember I hadn't applied any polish on my nails since I had left to go on vacation a month ago. So not sure if it was because I hadn't applied anything on my nails in a month, or maybe it was due to the polish itself. 

So for those of you who were wondering how long this polish lasted... Well it lasted around 2 days without a top coat, I didn't paint my thumb or my pinky nail, and the index, middle, and ring all had a matte finish top coat on top of them. So those ones lasted around 4 days, give or take (In case you were wondering why I say give or take, it's because I could have easily given those nails another day or two before I saw any real chipping).  And no I don't usually wear a basecoat under the polish, because I don't paint my nails often enough to consider wearing a basecoat all of the time. Now if I did end up wearing nail polish a lot more than yes, I would use a basecoat. These retail for $9.00 on Ulta's website, so defintely affordable for those of you who like polish (By the way I like to use the RetailMeNot app on my phone to get discounts at Ulta).

Hey guys! So I know it's been a while since I last updated, and that was because I was traveling to Taiwan, and I actually stayed there for the last month. If you guys are following me on Youtube you might have seen the first half of my trip. I still have a lot of footage to get through, so once I'm done, I will be posting the playlist on here for you guys to check out! But anyway, just to let you guys know, I did try out this new product by Pacifica while I was overseas... The reason why I decided to bring this product as opposed to my regular shampoo + conditioner in smaller bottles, was because I wanted to see how it would work in another country. The weather in Taiwan is bipolar... It was raining the first 2 weeks I was there, plus really cold, and then the third and fourth week it ended up being hot, and humid. So you could imagine how rain/cold + hot/humidity would make this the ultimate test for a new shampoo & conditioner from Pacifica.  Now first off, I'm not going to say this is a perfect formula, as a matter of fact, I have really oily hair, that only gets more oily as the day goes on, and for some reason this shampoo & conditioner, just kind of make my hair more oily as the day went on. 
I wasn't sure why my hair looked so oily, until after I had started to use my auntie's shampoo and realized that it might have been the shampoo. So if you have dry/normal hair, you should try this out, but if you are like me, I would suggest you try out this this shampoo & conditioner in a travel friendly size.  By the way since my hair is shorter now, than it was in the past, it doesn't tangle as badly as it did in the past, so I didn't even use the detangler. Not sure if I was suppose to use all three to get rid of my oily hair.  I didn't end up bringing the set back to the USA, as I had far too much stuff packed into one large luggage. Someone please remind me next time I travel, that I need to bring a small carry on and a large luggage. As far as I can see this set can only be bought at Ulta, it is not available on their website, or if it is, I wasn't looking in the right area. You guys know how much I love getting to participate in campaigns that are true to my heart. So when I got the opportunity to participate in a Hask campaign (again!), I was glad to do it! Hey guys! I'm a simple girl who doesn't like to fuss about makeup. The first time I was introduced to Billion Dollar Brows was at an event that I had attended earlier this year. Now since I mentioned that I don't like to fuss about my makeup, what I mean is whatever is easier and faster for me to put on, without being overly dramatic, and difficult. That's why I love brands like Billion Dollar Brows. It's super easy for me to apply the product onto my eyebrows without the difficulty of being overly dramatic.
I don't usually set my eyebrows with any type of gel, so when I got their Best Sellers Kit in, I was surprised that it came with so many items. And for the price you can't beat it! I've been trying to grow my hair out, and so far my hair has made progress since I cut off 12 inches in August. I don't style my hair often, and even when I do, I don't usually put any hairspray or anything like that in it, but when I do style my hair, I like to wash my hair that same night.

Hey guys! For the last couple of years I usually do a wishlist for items that I want to purchase by the end of next year. This year, I have a beauty wish list that I'm separating from my regular wishlist.
1. Clarisonic brush head - I don't use my clarisonic that much anymore. I think the reason is because I haven't had a chance to buy a new brush head for it.
2. Smith's Menthol & Eucalyptus balm - I have a love for anything that smells like menthol, so of course this would be on my list of balms that I need! Unfortunately no store that I know carry this particular item, so therefore I would need to buy this online.
3. L'oreal Lucent Magique Powder - As far as I know this product is only available in Japan. After I watched a video of a girl who used this, I've been wanting to get my hands on this product. Hopefully next year, I will be able to pick this up!
4. Burt's bees lip balm - I like the regular one. I've tried out a couple of their other ones out, and I just like the peppermint flavor.
5. Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner - I've been looking for a good replacement toner for a while, and I have yet to find my Holy Grail toner.
6. Cleansing body brush - I've seen a couple of videos of people using these brushes and they look like they would be good for exfoliating!

California Necklace - I've been meaning to purchase this necklace for a long time, but I just never got around to it.  2. iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus - Since my contract expired on December 1st, I've trying to decide if I want to upgrade my iPhone 5s to the (not the newest) iPhone 6. But I need a lot more space on my phone, so I will need to get the 128gb or the 64gb.   3. DSLR camera bag - I haven't been looking at DSLR bags for a long time, but I'm thinking it might be easier for me to not have to throw my camera into a random shopping bag and just take it like that.  4. Olympus Stylus Tough TG-860 camera - I've been meaning to upgrade my vlogging camera. For those of you who are wondering how I got to this model, I went to Best Buy a couple of weeks ago, and I saw this camera. When I saw this camera, my eyes kind of got huge, like whoa! For some reason, I like cameras that have flip up screens.

If you've been following me for a while, you'll know that I'm a huge fan of Hask! Since I get beauty box 5 subscriptions, I have found a new love for Hask products. I was given a couple of their items to review, and I have to say that they are pretty amazing, as usual Hask!  First when I got the package in, I was surprised that they packaged everything in a cute little drawstring bag. I had received their Keratin kit, and seriously when I first opened the shampoo, I was taken away. It smells amazing! There's a hint of floral in it, that just takes you away to another place.
