I have a review of a luxury skincare product today! I want to introduce you guys to Solvaderm Skincare's Ace - Ferulic. This serum is similar to Strivectin or SK-II's serums. This serum claims to: promotes dermal restoration and provides a powerful defense against skin aging due to sun exposure and environmental stressors.
I've been using this serum for the last couple of weeks, because I've been outside in the sun a lot more now, and I have noticed that my skin does look a little better. Is this worth the hype? Possibly, but I will most likely need to use up the entire bottle before I can say for sure if this product is as good as it "claims to be".
The one thing I wished this serum had included was SPF, because that would make this a perfect product for someone like me, who likes to go outside once in a while. While yes you can apply this underneath your makeup, you will still need some sort of SPF based product to keep your skin from getting sun damage. But then again, I can see why they don't add SPF to this product, that would make this product too thick, but maybe if they had this in a lotion form.
I do know that Solvaderm has their own version of sunscreen, but I don't like dipping my fingers into a tub like that, unless I know for sure that contamination is not going to be an issue. This skincare serum is priced at $109, which is something I'm a little iffy about paying that much for, but so far so good!
