Some books to get you in the halloween mood
I've been a huge fan of zombie, and alien based books for the last year. So when I found out that halloween was coming around, I knew that I just had to check out a couple of creepy books to read up on.
Can you survive the zombie apocalypse? by Max Brallier - This book is a really good book, because it tells it from your point of view. Remember those R.L. Stine books in which you had to choose what path you would take. And sometimes you would die at the end of the book, or sometimes you come out on top? Yeah, this is like that book. I really love this book, because I'm in charge of what my destiny is.
The Monstrumologist by Rick Yancey - I decided to pick up his book series, because I loved his other book the 5th wave. And this book is eerily creepy. It kind of makes me wonder about mankind, and what kind of horrors we have created in the past. This book is good for those of you who want something a little scary, and a little horrifying. I just had to look up anthropophagi after reading about it, and I was shocked to find out that it is a true myth. I haven't had a chance to read the second book yet, seeing as how I'm still on the first book, but I can't wait to read the second and the third book in the series! I have both the book in ebook format, and in book format, so before I go to sleep, I can read it in ebook format.
What are some of you favorite scary books? Please feel free to leave suggestions, because I love reading new books!
