Hey guys! In Southern California the sun is always out and always shining, so what do you need to survive in the heat other than water? A pair of really cool looking sunglasses of course. 

I'm seriously loving these Westwood Sunglasses. These are the classics in Coal. For some reason, I gravitate more towards black sunglasses. Once in a while I like to wear tortoise shell, but for the most part, I like my sunnies to be dark! 
For those of you who are curious, yes I did cut my hair this weekend, hence the shorter hair that I'm currently rocking. It's just been so hot in SoCal the last couple of weeks, that I couldn't stand to have long hair anymore. I feel like Irene Kim now with my short hair! I seriously love this white & pink dress combo from Pink Basis! First off it's simple, yet very cute for a date night. I also love the Blakely heels by Free People x Jeffrey Campbell. They are four inches, but not unwalkable. In fact they are extremely comfortable for me to wear. Here's another dress that I'm seriously loving!

I've been using retinol based creams for the last several years. I started out using Retin-A. Which was pretty good, until they jacked up the price of it at the pharmacy. No longer $25 a tube, it was $50. And then for a while, I used tretinoin, which is really strong stuff. Like this stuff will burn the top layer of skin on your face off. And if you have super sensitive skin, and you smear it all over your face, you are guaranteed to be a red, peeling mess the next couple of days.
